VERNISAGE UMETNICKIH RADOVA OLIVERE SMILJKOVIC

I was born in Bucharest, but shortly after I moved to Belgrade, Serbia, with my family. After finishing The University of Economics in Belgrade, I got married. In 1992, I moved to Limassol, Cyprus with my husband and children where we now live.

I started painting in 1994 and I am a self-taught painter. My art-works consist of painting on canvas and on furniture. The materials I use are oil colours, acrylics and pastels.

Up until now I had 10 self exhibitions and participated in 54 group exhibitions in Cyprus, Serbia, Belorussia, England, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary…

My works were selected and awarded by the jury of experts at the 9th Biennial of Naïve Art at the Jagodina Museum of Naïve Art, Serbia, and has been greatly appreciated by highly recognized art critics. Many private collectors from Cyprus, England, Serbia, Switzerland, France, Lebanon, Romania, Russia, Germany and Canada have my paintings in their collections.
